Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of everything We run: the GetOutThere mobile application, the getoutthereuae.com website, the Route Vault, the Marketplace, the training booking system, and the rides, tours, workshops, training sessions, races and social events We organise.

The Service is operated by GOT Events FZ LLE, Creative Tower, P.O. Box 4422, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates ("GOT", "We", "Us", "Our").

By creating an account, booking anything, joining a ride or using the Service in any way, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

Two related documents form part of these Terms and you should read them too: the Privacy Policy, which explains what We do with your data, and the Rider Waiver and Assumption of Risk, which governs your participation in any ride, training session, tour or event.

1. Accounts and eligibility

You need a GOT account to book anything, download routes or use the Marketplace. The same account works across the app and the website.

• You must be at least 13 to hold an account. Some rides, training sessions and events carry a higher minimum age, stated at the time of booking.
• If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must register you, accept these Terms and the Rider Waiver on your behalf, and be contactable during any event you attend.
• Give accurate information and keep it current. Your emergency contact and the riding level you declare are safety information, not paperwork. Overstating your level puts you and the group at risk and is grounds for removal from a ride without refund.
• One account per person. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Tell Us immediately if you think someone else has access.
• We may refuse, suspend or close an account at Our discretion, including where safety, conduct or payment is the issue.

2. Membership and subscriptions

Community access and open rides are free. Pro membership adds priority booking on rides and training, member-first access to international tours, Route Vault downloads and partner perks.

• Price. Pro is 35 AED per month, billed yearly at 420 AED. Prices are in UAE dirhams and may change. Any price change applies from your next renewal and We will tell you before it takes effect.
• Billing and renewal. Pro is sold as an in-app subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling and refunds. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not with Us. Refunds on store subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We cannot process them on your behalf. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• What Pro does not include. Pro is a membership, not a ticket. Rides, training, tours and events are booked and paid for separately unless a listing says otherwise. Pro does not include insurance of any kind.
• Partner perks. Discounts and offers from partners are provided by those partners and can change or end without notice. We are not responsible for a partner's goods, services or honouring of an offer.

3. Bookings, payments and cancellations

Rides, training sessions, tours, workshops and race entries are booked through the app or, for training dates open online, through the website.

How a booking becomes confirmed

Selecting a slot places a hold. A booking is confirmed only when payment has cleared and We have confirmed it. Until then the slot is not yours. Holds expire and the slot returns to the pool.

Payment

Website payments are taken through Stripe. In-app purchases go through Apple or Google. We never see or store your full card details. Prices are in AED and include any applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for your own travel, fuel, visas, border fees, bike transport, accommodation and insurance unless a listing explicitly includes them.

If you cancel a training booking

• More than 7 days before the session: full refund less payment processing fees.
• 3 to 7 days before: 50% refund.
• Less than 72 hours before, or no-show: no refund.
• You may transfer your slot to another rider at any time by telling Us who is taking it. The replacement rider must meet the level and age requirements and accept the Rider Waiver.

Tours, international trips and race entries carry their own cancellation terms because of the deposits We commit in advance. Those terms are stated on the listing and take precedence over the schedule above for that booking.

If We cancel

Weather, safety, terrain conditions, permits or coach availability can force a change. If We cancel, you choose between a full refund and a place on a new date. If We shorten, reroute or modify an event once it has started, for safety or for reasons outside Our control, no refund is due. Our judgement on whether conditions are safe is final.

4. Rides, training and events

Offroad riding carries an inherent risk of serious injury or death. You take part at your own risk. The full terms of your participation are in the Rider Waiver and Assumption of Risk, which you accept when you book and which applies every time you ride with Us.

In summary, and without limiting that document:

• You must hold a valid motorcycle licence for the vehicle you are riding, ride a roadworthy and mechanically sound bike, and carry your own insurance. We do not provide insurance of any kind to participants.
• Full protective gear is mandatory: helmet, eye protection, gloves, boots, and body protection appropriate to the terrain. Ride leaders can refuse anyone whose gear or bike is not up to it.
• You must be fit to ride, free of alcohol and of any substance that affects your riding, and honest about your medical conditions where they could matter in an emergency.
• Ride leaders and coaches are experienced riders and volunteers or contractors, not emergency services, mechanics or rescue professionals. Their instructions exist for group safety and must be followed. They can send a rider home at any point.
• Rides run in remote terrain. Mobile coverage, recovery and medical help can be hours away. Plan for that, and bring your own water, fuel, tools and recovery kit.
• You are responsible for your own compliance with UAE law, including access permissions, protected and restricted areas, private property and traffic rules. Fines and penalties are yours.

5. Routes and GPX files

Route Vault downloads are available to Pro members. You accept the GPX terms of use shown at download, and they apply in full. In short:

• Tracks are shared for reference only. They are not guaranteed, maintained or approved routes, and We do not verify them before or after publishing.
• Conditions in the UAE change constantly. Rain, flooding, sand movement, erosion, quarry and municipality works, new fencing, private property and restricted zones can make a previously ridden line unsafe, impassable or illegal.
• Checking current conditions, access permissions and your own capability before riding is your responsibility, as is turning back when the terrain calls for it.
• Routes are for your personal use. Do not republish, resell, or distribute them, or use them to run commercial or guided rides, without Our written permission.

6. Marketplace

The Marketplace is a classifieds board. It puts buyers and sellers in touch and nothing more.

• We are not a party to any transaction. We do not own, inspect, verify, value, test or warrant any bike, part or item listed. We hold no money, provide no escrow and offer no buyer or seller protection.
• Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listing, for having the right to sell the item, and for any legal requirement that applies to the sale, including ownership transfer, registration and export.
• Buyers are responsible for their own inspection and due diligence. Check the bike, the paperwork and the seller before money changes hands. Meet in a public place.
• Any dispute is between buyer and seller. We will not arbitrate it and We are not liable for the outcome.
• Prohibited: stolen goods, items you do not own, counterfeit parts, safety-critical equipment you know to be damaged, misleading descriptions, and anything unlawful in the UAE. We remove listings and close accounts for these without notice.
• braaap.ae is a separate platform operated by Us under different terms. Listing on one does not list you on the other.

7. Community conduct

GOT works because the people in it behave well. On rides, in the app, and in Our WhatsApp groups:

• Treat other riders with respect. No harassment, abuse, discrimination or intimidation.
• No commercial promotion, recruitment or spam without Our permission. Business use of the community is by arrangement.
• Do not encourage or film dangerous riding, riding without gear, or riding in restricted areas.
• Do not share another member's personal information, photos or location without their agreement.
• Do not share Route Vault files, member-only content or your account access outside the membership.

We can remove content, remove you from a ride, remove you from the community groups, or close your account for breaching this section. Where the breach is serious, We will do it without notice and without refund.

8. Your content

Anything you post, upload or share through the Service, including listings, photos, ride reports, GPX tracks, reviews and messages, stays yours.

By posting it you give Us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and adapt it for the purpose of running and promoting the Service and the community. You confirm you have the right to grant that licence and that the content does not infringe anyone else's rights.

We photograph and film rides, training and events. By taking part you agree that We may use images and footage in which you appear for Our own promotion, on Our website, app, social channels and in partner and sponsor material. If you do not want to appear, tell the ride leader or coach before the event starts and email admin@getoutthereuae.com, and We will do what We reasonably can.

We can remove any content, at any time, for any reason, without being obliged to explain.

9. Our content and brand

The GetOutThere and GOT names, logos, the app, the website, its design, text, photography, route database and all other material We produce belong to Us or Our licensors. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, reverse-engineer or build a derivative service from them.

You may not use Our name or logo to describe, endorse or promote your own rides, business, products or events without written permission.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, use the app's account settings or email admin@getoutthereuae.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access, immediately and without refund, if you breach these Terms, put yourself or others at risk, behave in a way that damages the community, or fail to pay. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do survive it, including content licences already granted, liability limits and indemnities.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any content, route, calendar entry, level rating or price shown will be accurate or current.

The Rider Skill Assessment is a guide to help Us place you on suitable rides. It is not a certification, a qualification, or a judgement that any particular ride is safe for you. Your own assessment of what you can ride is the one that counts.

Training improves skill. It does not remove risk. No coach, no session and no assessment makes offroad riding safe.

Third-party services We rely on, including app stores, payment processors, mapping providers and hosting, are outside Our control. So is the behaviour of other members, partners, sponsors, trainers and third parties you meet through the Service.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law:

• We are not liable for any injury, death, illness, property damage, vehicle damage, loss, theft, fine, penalty or legal consequence arising from your participation in any ride, training session, tour, event or race, or from your use of any route or GPX file, whether the ride is organised by Us or ridden independently.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, income, data, opportunity or enjoyment.
• We are not liable for the acts or omissions of other members, trainers, guides, partners, sponsors, buyers, sellers or any third party.
• Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, Our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the total amount you paid Us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where UAE law does not allow it to be excluded or limited.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GOT Events FZ LLE, its owners, directors, staff, ride leaders, coaches, volunteers and partners against any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your participation in any activity, your content, your Marketplace dealings, or your breach of any law.

14. Changes

We may change the Service and these Terms. When We change the Terms We update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where the change is significant We will tell you in the app, by email or by a notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If We do not enforce a right immediately, We have not given it up.
